Back at the ranch
Many thanks to Charles Cole and the Schola Cantorum of the Cardinal Vaughan School for covering the Cathedral Choir's absence at the Sunday morning 10.30 Mass. They performed the Mozart Coronation Mass and some Monteverdi. Amongst their number were two former choristers. Former organ scholar, Robert Houssart, was organist for the Mass.
Next Sunday the music at the 10.30 will be provided by the Lassus Scholars of Dublin, conducted by Ite O'Donovan. It's good to be able to leave the Sunday 10.30s in the safe hands of two excellent choirs while we are away.
